Miami University Libraries would like to invite faculty and staff to the “What is Digital Humanities?” Symposium, sponsored by the MU Humanities Center, on October 23rd from 3:00-6:30pm in King 320. This symposium will be a chance for faculty, graduate students, and librarians to think about the implications, practices, and uses of Digital Humanities and digital collections.
Speakers will include H. Lewis Ulman from Ohio State University,Director, Digital Media Studies who has worked on the Digital Archive of Literacy Narratives (http://daln.osu.edu/handle/2374.DALN/1), and Angela Courtney from Indiana University, who has worked on the Victorian Women Writers Project (http://webapp1.dlib.indiana.edu/vwwp/).
