GovLoop Digital Marketing Fellow

As a Digital Marketing Fellow, your potential responsibilities will include:

  • Researching, maintaining, and analyzing Govloop’s web analytics and member data
  • Helping with development, logistics, marketing and execution of in-person and online events
  • Assist with growing lists of varying size and identifying targeted messages
  • Manage and fine tune the new member welcome process
  • Assist with creating weekly jobs alerts
  • Work closely with team lead on audience development and acquisition
  • Data analysis for promotion process effectiveness
  • Assist with managing key members and accounts through CRM tool
  • Developing daily e-mail newsletters, including the review and selection of content
  • Maintaining records and assisting with coordination of GovLoop CPE requirements
  • Assisting with the development, delivery and follow-up for GovLoop training and events, such as Virtual Conferences, the Next Generation of Government Summit, Next Gen Road Shows and other in-person and online events

Qualifications: 

  • Student or Recent Graduate (preferable communications or business degrees but also could be journalism, graphic design, computer science, etc.)
  • Ideal – experience with email marketing, analytics programs, and/or Salesforce (minimum – interest and willingness to learn)
  • Strong or exceptional writing and organizational skills
  • Experience and/or interest in the public sector
  • Dynamic go-getter who can handle a range of tasks
  • Community organizing a plus (from politics to online) Passion for social media and new technology
  • Thrive in start-up culture
  • People that know how to move fast and get stuff done
