University Libraries celebrate Open Access Week

The University Libraries are celebrating Open Access Week Oct. 22-26 with many events. We are most excited about a presentation by William Gunn. William is Head of Academic Outreach at Mendeley and an outspoken advocate for open access.

Mendeley is a cross-platform tool that helps people manage, annotate, and share their paper and research collections. I have attached a fact sheet about Mendeley, and you can read more about them at http://www.mendeley.com. William will be giving a presentation: entitled“How Open Scholarship is Changing Research.” His presentation will take place Thursday, October 25, from 4:30pm-5:30pm in McGuffey 322.
